Vacationers booking Fly540 flights to Kenya this year may find there is plenty to occupy them if they visit the nation's coastline.
Angie Sloan, Kenya Tourist Board UK director, observed that the area south of Mombasa has something for everyone, from cultural breaks in the region's cities to diving excursions and wildlife safaris.
Figures from the tourist board revealed that in the first month of the year, a growing number of people opted to book flights to Nairobi, with the number of arrivals in the country up 40 per cent year-on-year in January.
"The coastline south of Mombasa is a tropical paradise of palm fringed white sand beaches, turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and beautiful coral reefs which attract divers from all over the world," Ms Sloan stated.
She added that Mombasa itself has "ancient" buildings and that the Old Town has a wealth of culture that visitors on a day trip may enjoy.
