Individuals hoping to spot some of the world's most impressive creatures during their next trip abroad may find there is no better way to indulge their desire than booking flights to Kenya with Fly540, a tourism official has claimed.
Angie Sloan, UK director of the Kenya Tourist Board (KTB), said the Tsavo National Park is a stunning location for those who want to view spectacular wildlife, whether they travel on foot or go on a game drive.
Among the locations she recommended visiting were the Galana River, the Yatta plateau and the Mzima Springs, which have a large number of hippos as well as an underwater observatory to watch them in their natural habitat.
However, Ms Sloan said those who book flights to Nairobi should not limit their travels to just one location when out to spot wildlife.
"The national parks are so different in topography and wildlife so it is definitely worth visiting two or three for completely different experiences followed by total relaxation on the coast," she said.
Figures from the KTB published earlier this month revealed that in January 2011, there was an increase of 40 per cent in the number of tourism arrivals to the country.
