

Mahan Air has announced that it will launch non-stop scheduled passenger services between Birmingham, UK and Amritsar, India via Tehran’s IKA Airport . From 02 July 2009, Mahan Air will be operating 3 weekly morning departures from Birmingham non-stop to Tehran and onto Amritsar.
Amritsar, India will become Mahan Air’s 14th international destination effective 03 July, 2009 with 3 times weekly flights to Tehran. At Tehran IKA Airport, passengers can conveniently connect to most Mahan Air destinations in the Middle East, Far East and Europe. The new services will be operated by two-class A310-300 aircraft with 204 seats, including 16 new Business Class seats.
