IranAir have announced a new non-stop flight from London Heathrow to the regional capital, Shiraz. The flight will operate weekly between 05 June and 30 October 2010.
IranAIr are planning to operate their Boeing 747 on the route which departs every Saturday from London Heathrow at 1700 local time arriving in Shiraz at 0325 on Sunday morning. The return flight leaves Shiraz every Sunday morning at 0740 arriving in Heathrow at 1145 Local times. (Note local times in Iran from change by 1 hour from 25 September).
Whilst Shiraz is only the sixth largest city in Iran by the measure of population size, it is the centre of Iran's oil refining and electronics industries.
