Iran Air and Turkish Airlines to get closer ties

The chairman of Iran's flag carrier, Iran Air, has announced that  Iran and Turkey will come together to form a new joint aviation consortium.
Farhad Parvaresh stated that initial talks have been held with Turkish Airlines, and last month Turkish Airline officials visited Iran to hold talks with Iran Air about expanding relations between the two countries’ national airlines.

Iran Air is the flag carrier airline of Iran, operating services to 60 destinations, 35 international (including London) and 25 domestic. The cargo fleet operates services to 20 scheduled and 5 charter destinations. Turkish Airlines is the national airline of Turkey. It operates scheduled services to 127 international and 34 domestic cities (37 domestic airports), serving a total of 164 airports, in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas
