The International Low Budget Film Festival will take place in the town of Gibara in the Holguin province between April 5th and 10th, AFP reports.

Speaking about the event yesterday (January 25th), festival director Sergio Benvenuto claimed there will be "numerous audiovisual works" on display.
It is designed to promote high-quality feature films, shorts and documentaries, all of which are made on a budget, the news provider continued. Mr Benvenuto added that the spectacular will be "a highly professional event with very elaborate shows and proposals".
The festival was founded by film-maker Humberto Solas, who is famous for directing the classic film Lucia.
