India's Mango Festival to be held in July

Jetsetters travelling to India on SpiceJet flights this summer may want to ensure they are in Delhi during July for the International Mango Festival.

Flights to DelhiThe celebration of the sweet fruit is held at the capital's Dilli Haat and visitors will have the opportunity to sample a number of different varieties.

At the Dilli Haat, there are a number of handicraft stalls where tourists may be able to taste local delicacies from around the country.

According to Delhi Tourism, edibles from the food stalls are served in an eco-friendly manner.

Those who head to the area for the Mango Festival will be able to test some of the 1,000 varieties of the fruit which are grown in the Asian nation.

In past years, there have been events such as a Mango Quiz, an eating competition and sales of products based on the foodstuff, including pickles, jelly, jam and aam panna.
