Spice Jet and going to India could be top on the list of priorities for some holidaymakers this year, as one expert has described it as a "really great place" to visit.

Tina Banerjee, editor of Columbus Travel Media, said the region has always had an appeal, especially among adventurers and backpackers.
However, more people are now realising what this "fantastic" place has to offer, she claimed.
As well has having a network of airlines flying to the destination, there are much improved transport links within the country, the expert continued.
Ms Banerjee said: "There's so much to see and do and mop up - it's mind-blowing in every sense, from what you can see, smell and hear."
Those who do decide to visit India may have no trouble finding somewhere to stay, as the Marriott, Intercontinental and ITC hotel chains have all recently announced they are expanding their presence in the destination.
