Iberia

With flights via Spain to Africa, North America, South America, and Central America, Iberia has cheap flights to Rio de Janeiro, Bogota, Mexico City, Lima and key cities throughout the Americas.

Iberia flight connections via Madrid and Barcelona

Iberia’s European hub at Madrid (Barajas) is either easy or diabolical so leave plenty of time for connecting flights. In 2006 the new terminal 4 was opened in Madrid and is dominated by Iberia. This makes flight connections easy, particularly when you are transferring to another Iberia flight.

With a fleet of around 150 jet aircraft and more than 50 turbo-props in associated airlines, Iberia is a monster, particularly when you add in the many code-share flights on other airlines’ aircraft and its membership of the hugely successful alliance "One-world". One of the world’s first adopters of E-tickets, Iberia is now an "all e-ticket" carrier on its own flights, and, unusually, this also works well with combination flights on other carriers. In particular E-tickets can be used for travel on Royal Jordanian Air, Copa Air, Northwest Airlines, Korean Air, TACA International Airlines and Lacsa when an Iberia leg is involved.

As a Spanish speaking way to journey to South America there is no better choice.

Iberia - flights beyond Spain

Everyone uses Iberia as their transatlantic airline to South America; they have more frequencies, destinations and daily departures than any other airline, but have a look at their prices to South Africa and West Africa. If you’re travelling from the North of England or the Midlands Iberia offer the same fare from London, Birmingham and Manchester airports for their long-haul flights.

The Iberia fleet is dominated by Airbus, A340, A321, A320 and A319. They also operate ATR 72, Dash8’s and CRJ-200 and CRJ-900. Iberia never like to stand still and on 21st July 2009 they launched their new enhanced and better quality meals. These will be served on all their longhaul flights. The mouthwatering delights include pastas, salads and sandwiches.
