Iberia launches new in-flight meals in their economy class

Iberia have announced plans to "reinvent" their tourist class meals. Their plan is to increase the serving that are offered to their passengers and improve the quality of the ingredients that they will use.

The new menu will be offered on their longhaul flights only and will certainly tingle your taste buds. You will able to start your meal with a varied selection of salads like a cous-cous salad with outhwatering crab, you can then dine on sumptuous meatballs or fideua which is a noodle paella and to finsh Iberia will offer finish your experience with sweet delights such as red berry pie or chocolate sponge cake.

Iberia will also offer a new design to the breakfast and brunch menu, a box will contain or in Iberia’s words will be stuffed with goodies. Such items may include breakfast rolls, croissants and fresh fruit. The plan is to reduce serving time and passenger inconvenience.

Passengers will also be able to snack between meals on nuts, chocolate sweets or sandwiches and of course they will also be served with a selection of beverages. These changes are part of Iberia’s Quality Improvement Programme which will be rolled out across-the-board.
