Fans of hip hop may be booking flights to Bogota later this year for the Hip Hop al Parque event in the city, which is scheduled to take place on October 8th and 9th.
The annual gathering of musicians and fans of the genre will be held in Simon Bolivar Park and 2011 marks the 14th year in which it has been held.
At the last event, a total of 75,000 people flocked to the venue to watch rappers and DJs perform.
The festival promises to offer a variety of different forms of entertainment related to hip hop, such as graffiti artists and break dancers.
Organised by the Ministry of Culture, Recreation and Sport, the event was described by the department's head Catherine Vallejo Ramirez as one that "demonstrates the high level of social ownership of the festival among the youth of the city".
As well as providing a stage for many of the country's own hip hop stars, there will also be a number of international artists heading to the country, some of whom may take Avianca flights to get there.
While in Bogota, holidaymakers may also want to check out the Gold Museum, which features an impressive collection of items made from the precious metal.
