Travellers who love to fly their kites might want to book Garuda flights to Indonesia to witness the Bali Kite Festival.
It takes place near Sanur Beach in July this year and will see a great variety of different flying objects take to the sky.
Teams from a number of villages in the area compete against each other and there are a range of categories for contestants to enter.
Each group of people taking part is comprised of ten or more fliers and the largest kite is the Bebean, which can be up to ten metres in length.
Those who attend but who do not want to try their hand at the activity may also be able to enjoy music provided by a traditional gamelan orchestra.
While in the country, those with Garuda flights might want to consider staying in the capital to watch another kite festival held at Carnaval Beach.
According to WhatsOnWhen, people from more than 20 provinces head to Jakarta to compete in this event.
