The annual event in Havana features DJs, musicians and composers from across the country.
This year will be the 30th anniversary of the event, which will see music played at both indoor and outdoor venues throughout the capital.
Originally set up by the composer Juan Blanco, it has been attended by some of the leading figures in the electroacoustic music field, such as Jon Appelton, Max Mathew and Nicola Sani.
Musicians first gathered for the festival at the beach of Varadero, but the proceedings were moved to the Historical Center of Havana in 1998.
Music fans travelling to the city on Cubana flights to Havana will also be able to enjoy the Concurso y Festival Internacional Fiesta del Tambor, which pays tribute to the percussive talents of Guillermo Barreto.
