Happy Air Travellers, Thailand's latest airline, will offer daily flights to Langkawi from two major southern Thai tourist destinations -- Phuket and Hat Yai -- beginning Oct 29th 2009.
The airline will also operate between the two resorts and all flights will use 34-seater twin turboprop SAAB 340A aircraft.
The service between Phuket and Hat Hai route is aimed at businessmen and professional groups seeking to avoid the seven hour road journey, whilst on the flights to Langkawi from the two Thai cities Happy Air Travellers is targeting leisure travellers.
Happy Air Travellers will be the only airline flying into Langkawi from Thailand after Air Asia stopped its Bangkok-Langkawi route two years ago.
