

Tbilisi based national carrier, Georgian Airways, which flies to Paris, Frankfurt, Vienna, Amsterdam, Athens, Kiev, Moscow, Dubai, Tel-Aviv, Minsk, Kharkov and Tehran, is facing increasing competition from November 4th. Dubai based budget airline, FlyDubai has just announced new twice weekly flights from Tbilisi to its hub in Dubai. The new flights operate from Tblisis on Tuesdays and Saturdays with the return flights from Dubai leaving on Mondays and Fridays. Both flights take 3 hours 25 minutes.
