Garuda Indonesia has announced plans to re-start services to New Zealand's largest city, Auckland, for the first time since 2006, subject to government approvals and aircraft availability.
Air New Zealand has already said that it will start direct flights from Auckland to the Indonesian resort of Bali later this year.
Garuda has a large international network of flights but just one destination currently served in Europe, which is Amsterdam. As Garuda gradually equips with more and newer aircraft is it likely that they will offer more services to Europe with London and Frankfurt being the most likely cities to be served initially.
Alternative Airlines has a strong and long standing relationship with Garuda and the best fares are available through our easy to use on-line booking engine.
