Garuda Airlines of Indonesia Airline has announced the a further expansion of its flight operations with an increase of flights to Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore as part of an attempt to triple its number of international departures by 2014.

Garuda will also reinstate nonstop flights from Hong Kong to Bali and Surabaya starting in June 2010. The new Asian routes will use Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft, with flat-screen TVs in all classes. In addition staring in April 2010 the number of Jakarta-Singapore flights will increase to seven a day.
Also announced, Garuda frequent fliers and executive class passengers can take advantage of new fast-track security clearance at Suvarnabhumi International Airport near Bangkok.
