Are there child discounts?
Children under 12 may qualify for a discount and the amount will depend on the cost of the accompanying adult’s ticket. Infants under 2 years pay a percentage of the adult fare. To find child/infant prices just complete the booking form and enter the number of adults, children or infants and you will automatically get a total and a breakdown of the very lowest fares available for your party.
You can request a Skycot for an infant and, subject to availability, this will be confirmed at check-in. Please contact us on 0871 222 9222 once you have your booking reference and we will add the request to your reservation.
Can I decide if I have a paper and an e-ticket?
Whenever possible we always issue an electronic ticket document and forward this to you by e-mail, followed by your receipt by 1st class post. This along with suitable photo ID (and any necessary visas/entry permits) is all you need to check-in. Some airlines still require us to issue the conventional paper ticket. Where paper tickets are issued your travel documents will be mailed to you by next day "Special Delivery". This ensures safe delivery of your tickets. You would normally receive travel documents within 2 working days of booking. We do have to make a small charge to cover the cost of any Special Delivery costs.
Be assured that whenever possible e-tickets are always issued.
Do you offer any Discount Fares?

Do you sell regional/domestic tickets in foreign countries?
Most certainly and we can arrange your long or short haul international flights too !!!

How do I know when my booking is confirmed?
When you successfully complete the booking process a confirmation number will appear on your screen, please carefully note this reference number. Shortly thereafter you will also receive an e-mail confirmation that reconfirms passenger details, full itinerary and costing. We suggest that you print a copy and keep safely, as, should you have need to contact us we will ask you to quote this booking reference.
How much extra do you charge for taxes etc?
NOTHING. Our pricing policy offers total transparency-the price you see is the price you pay. There are no hidden charges for pre-payable airport/government taxes, service charges and other fees. We do not believe in showing a lead in price then inflating it with what are after all compulsory extra charges. Please be aware that all prices we quote are guaranteed once they are ticketed.
How much luggage can I check-in?
This will depend on the airline you are travelling with and your class of travel. Baggage allowances vary airline to airline and if you travel in Business class you will get a higher allowance than if you fly in Economy. The actual allowance applicable to your journey will be shown on your travel documents.
How safe are my credit/debit card details?
Our booking facility is secured using 128bit SSL encryption. This ensures that personal information you send us via the World Wide Web will be secure. You can therefore book with total confidence in the knowledge that your personal details are completely safe.
I have tried to book on-line but cannot complete the booking?
Firstly it is very rare for this to occur and be assured that if you have entered any payment details your card will not have been debited if the transaction was not completed and a booking number sent to you by email.

If I can’t find the route/airline I want what should I do?
All of the airlines and the routes they fly are available on line by completing the booking form. However, for circumstances beyond our control the full range may occasionally not be displayed in full. If this is the case just call one of our helpful advisors on 0871 222 9222 who will be pleased to assist.
What are the benefits of booking on-line?
We have a full range of flights and fares available on-line via our reservations system offering fast and easy access with immediate confirmation. Also available are special fares that are only available for on-line bookings.
Of course you are welcome to telephone us if you experience difficulty or have any questions you would like to ask. If you book your flight over the telephone we will quote the lowest fare available but please be aware that it could be a higher fare than would be available on-line.
What happens if I have to amend or cancel a booking?
If cancel a reservation you will be liable for any cancellation fees as levied by the airline. Fees vary depending on the airline and the type of ticket/fare that you have purchased. You should note that most "low fares" are non-refundable.
If you need to amend a booking it may be possible but will again depend on the conditions of your particular ticket/fare type. All changes will be subject to amendment fees and any fare differences as specified by the airlines rules.

Which credit/debit cards do you accept and do you make a charge to use them?
For your convenience we are pleased to accept a wide range of cards, they are : Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards, including Switch, Maestro, Solo, Visa Delta, and Electron. Debit cards are accepted without additional charge. Credit card payments are subject to a supplementary charge percent, depending on the card used.

Why has my credit card has been debited with two amounts?
Usually your card is debited by Alternative Airlines for the total of the booking. Some airline, however, prefer to handle the financial transaction themselves. On these occasions the airline will debit your card for the air fare and pre-payable taxes and Alternative Airlines will make a separate debit to cover service charge and any postal charges.
