One of our most favourite airlines, Fly540, has granted a franchise licence from parent Fly540 Africa to Fly540 Zimbabwe, enabling the new Zimbabwean carrier to finalise its business development plan for submission to the Civil Aviation Authority in preparation for an Air Operator’s Certificate.
Fly540 Zimbabwe is planning to launch services in Jun-2010, subject to licensing with a fleet of ATR 72 aircraft. This is part of Fly540's TransAfrica strategy which we are following with great interest and will be supporting here at Alternative Airlines.
