LATAM is one of over 600 airlines available to book with Alternative Airlines. Not only do we offer a wide choice of airlines but we also offer a large range of both currencies and payment methods. We accept over 160 different currencies meaning you can often pay in your local one. We accept Brazillian Real, Chilean Peso, Peruvian Sol, Colombian Peso and more. Can I pay for LATAM flights in instalments?

You can pay for LATAM flights in instalments with one of our many Buy Now, Pay Later options such as Klarna, Affirm, Afterpay, Zip, and PayPal Credit. This can help you spread the cost into manageable payments over a set period of time. However, at present we don't currently offer Buy Now, Pay Later options in numerous Latin American markets. Afterpay✔

Can I pay with Afterpay on LATAM Flights?

You will only be able to pay for LATAM flights with Afterpay if you are a resident of the US and are paying in USD. If you meet these set requirements then you will be able to pay for these flights in 4 interest-free instalments spread over 6 weeks.

Affirm

Can I pay with Affirm on LATAM Flights?

Affirm as a payment option is only available to our US customers. If you plan on purchasing LATAM flights from the US then Affirm may be an option for you. If you choose to pay for your flights with Affirm then you will be able to spread the repayments over 3, 6, 12 and 18 months. Please note that the payment period offered will depend on the price of the tickets booked. Increasing flexibility for their customers Affirm allows you to make either monthly or bi-weekly payments.

Klarna

Can I pay for LATAM flights using Klarna?

Klarna is a great Buy Now, Pay Later option available in numerous international markets including the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Germany. If you are a resident of these countries you will be able to use this as a payment method for your LATAM flights. Klarna currently offers different payment plans including Pay in 30 days, Pay in 3 instalments, Monthly financing for up to 6 months and more. See if Klarna is available to you at the checkout.

PayPal Credit

Can I pay with PayPal Credit on LATAM?

PayPal Credit is only available to residents of the UK, the US and some select European and other markets. Unfortunately, this also means that PayPal Credit is not available for our Latin American customers. If this is a payment method offered to you at checkout, you will be able to spread the cost of your flights over 4 months with 0% interest. Depending on the value of the flights PayPal Credit may allow you to extend the repayment period to longer than 4 months.

Zip

Does LATAM accept Zip?

Yes, Zip may be an option available to you. Currently, Zip is available to residents of the US, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. If you select this payment method at the checkout then you will be able to easily break the flights up into manageable instalments that can be paid back over time.

Can I pay for LATAM flights in instalments?

You may be able to pay for your LATAM flights with one of our Buy Now, Pay Later options provided by Afterpay, Affirm, Klarna, PayPal Credit, TendoPay and Zip. These help you to spread the cost into both short and long term manageable instalments. See at the checkout which options are available for you. Please be aware that there currently is no Buy Now Pay Later options available in the majority of South American markets.

Why should I book my LATAM tickets through Alternative Airlines?

LATAM doesn't offer any Buy Now, Pay Later payment methods directly through their website. But don't worry, you'll still be able to travel with them while paying with one of these options.
