Kenya Airways have relaunched domestic scheduled services between its operating base in Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta to Malindi, to serve resorts on the Kenyan coast. The new service will operate six times weekly and will be flown on an Embraer E-170 aircraft.

the move by Kenya Airways puts them in direct competition with Expanding Kenyan low cost carrier, Fly540 which operate betwenn Nairobi and Mailndi with a daily service.
In a separate announcement, Kenya Airways also announced new services to Rome (Fiumicino) with a three times weekly Beoing 767 service from Nairobi.
