Ethiopian Airlines announces new routes to Milan

 

European jetsetters can travel more freely between Italy and Addis Ababa now that Ethiopian Airlines has announced new routes between the African city and Milan.

Flights to EthiopiaThe carrier has expanded the number of Italian destinations on its schedule to two, with five weekly services set to travel to the northern location starting July this year.

Vacationers moving between the African and European cities will make use of Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.

Gobena Mikael, senior vice-president of global sales and chief commercial officer for Ethiopian Airlines, commented: "Our services to Milan will create new market opportunities for Ethiopian Airlines while providing better access and service to northern Italy travellers wishing to venture into Africa."

Milan is the seventh location in Europe serviced by the organisation and the second - after Rome - in Italy

Earlier this month, the carrier announced that customers hoping to get to China will be able to fly direct to Hangzhou.
