Expanding African carrier, Ethiopian Airlines has just launched a new route with four weekly flights between Addis Ababa and Malakal on the Nile using a 78-seat Q400 aircraft.

Malakal is the capital of the Wilayah (state) of Upper Nile, Southern Sudan. It is located on the banks of the White Nile, just north of its confluence with the Sobat River. Ethiopian Airlines also operates to Juba and Khartoum in Sudan
