People who have a love of Canadian culture and performing arts could combine the two this summer when they take Air Transat flights to Vancouver.
An annual event called Theatre Under the Stars is set to take place at Stanley Park's Malkin Bowl once more, this year between July 8th and August 20th 2011.
It aims to entertain families by putting on popular musicals, with Bye Bye Birdie and Anything Goes part of the line-up this time around.
However, it is not simply a spectator sport, with visitors invited to take part in training to boost their performing skills while they are there.
Past performances have included Annie and Thoroughly Modern Millie, both of which were staged in 2009 and received an excellent response from tourists and locals.
Last month, Amber Sessions from Tourism Vancouver recommended the city to young people, especially those looking for something a little different on a gap year.
