New Italian airline, Eagles Airlines has been granted its new AOC and operating license by the Italian authorities. Due to start operating soon from its base in Venice (Tessara) the three Fokker 100 aircraft will operate both domestic and international scheduled services.
The Fokker 100 aircraft will have a full economy cabin with 100 seats and the new company has has ordered some Sukhoi superJets for future operations.
The first flight is planned for 24th August from Venice to Lamezia Terme with other destinations including Crotone, Catania, Olbia, Bucharest (Otopeni), Reggio Calabria and Timisoara to follow before the end of September 2009.,
