

Competing with the European services of national carrier, Cubana from London, Madrid and Paris, the Dutch flag carrier KLM has launched a new three times weekly service from Amsterdam to Havana, Cuba starting from this weekend, October 31st. The new service will operate on a 285-seater MD11 aircraft, operating from Amsterdam each Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
In 2011, Cuba is anticipating a record number of over 2.7 million tourists and a growing number of airlines now fly to Cuba, including Air-France, Iberia, Air-Europa,Lufthansa Airlines,Martinair, Copa, TACA and Air Transat , Virgin Atlantic Airways and British Airways.
