Cricket World Cup tickets 'selling well'

Many people could be booking flights with Spice Jet in order to get to India ahead of the beginning of the cricket World Cup.   The majority of tour packages that incorporate match tickets have already sold out, an article posted on the Deccan Herald quoted the International Cricket Council as stating.

Co-founder of Cutting Edge Events Mayank Khandwala explained that because places are limited, tickets are running out quickly.

His company is offering a number of packages for those who wish to experience the sporting event, which will take place between February 19th and April 2nd.

"We are also getting a lot of inquiries and bookings from international travellers from the Middle East, Singapore, Africa and Hong Kong," he said.

Australia are currently ranked as the best one day international team in the world, while India are in second place with Sri Lanka in third. South Africa and England complete the top five.
