In support of its successful 10-year operational alignment with Continental Airlines, Copa Airlines has made a business decision to depart the SkyTeam Alliance. Copa Airlines has assured its passengers that even after the alliance with SkyTeam ends on Oct. 24, 2009, the Continental-Copa-Aero República alliance will remain just as strong, and will continue to include joint participation in the three airlines’ programs such as OnePass and other services that are part of our association.
The following information is provided for the benefit of our passengers: OnePass Members 1. OnePass members will continue to earn miles on SkyTeam alliance airlines on all qualified flights until Oct. 24, 2009. 2. Members may make reservations and obtain reward tickets using OnePass miles for travel on SkyTeam alliance airlines until Oct. 24, 2009. 3. Members must complete all reward travel on SkyTeam alliance airlines by Oct. 24, 2010. 4. OnePass members will not lose their miles and may continue to earn and redeem miles as usual on Continental Airlines, Copa Airlines, Aero República and other airlines associated with the OnePass program. Presidents Club Members 1. Presidents Club members will continue to have access to SkyTeam airport lounges until Oct. 24, 2009.
