Copa Airlines has signed an agreement to purchase 13 additional 737-800 aircraft from Boeing with an order worth approximately $1 billion at current list prices.

In addition the Copa order includes eight further options and this brings to 27 the total number of 737NGs ordered. The first aircraft are due for delivery in 2012, with the remainder arriving over the next three years.
