Those flying on Precision Air planes to Tanzania to attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro could be in for a unique experience, it has been claimed.
Solicitor Chris Kane is planning to make his way to the top of Africa's highest mountain in June.
He told the Oxford Mail that he is excited about the challenge, which he is attempting in a bid to raise funds for military charity Help for Heroes.
The 49-year-old will be part of a team of 40 people set to tackle the peak.
"I'm looking forward to the climb, it's definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience and arguably the biggest challenge of my life," he told the publication.
Mr Kane explained that he has been running regularly to try to get fit enough to take on the world' highest freestanding mountain.
On the Kilimanjaro Summit website, prospective climbers who plan to take Precision Air flights to Tanzania to attempt the gruelling hike were advised to ensure they properly acclimatise to the altitude.
