Cimber Sterling Airways of Denmark has cancelled its new scheduled service between Aberdeen and Billund after just two flights.
Cimber Sterling, which operated the route between the UK's most northern city and the home of Lego stopped the flights due to lack of passenger demand but have indicated that they may re-start the route in 2010. The service had been scheduled to fly three times per week. A spokeswoman for Cimber Sterling said last night the demand for the service had been overestimated. She said: “We thought that more customers would travel on the route, but they did not."
