Vacationers planning to purchase flights to Tirana with Albanian Airlines might want to look into hostels in the country.
In an article for the Independent, Lucy Gillmore claimed it is possible for holidaymakers to stay in chic locations even if they are on a budget.
She noted that there are a variety of up-market accommodation options for travellers, including "boutique" hostels and "funky city pads".
Indeed, the wide range of different and exciting places to stay prompted her to claim "hostelling is hot" - a statement that might encourage those with Albanian Airlines flights to the country to look beyond hotels for places to stay.
Feargal Mooney, chief executive of booking website Hostelworld.com, told the publication: "With much higher-quality accommodation now on offer, including private and en suite family rooms, we're seeing an increasing number of older travellers using hostels."
Those with flights to Tirana might want to check out some of the many historical sights, such as the tomb of Kapllan Pasha - one of the rulers of the city.
