Carpatair, the independent Romanian airline has announced the acquisition of three Fokker 70s aircraft.
The new aircraft have a passenger seating capacity of 72 in an all economy configuration. The first of the three aircraft arrived in December 2009 with the remaining two due to arrive in Timisoara during February and March 2010. Carpatair has yet to announce which routes will be flown by the new aircraft.
