Camairco, the new national carrier of Cameroon, will replace the now defunct Cameroon Airlines.
The new airline has announced plans to acquire Boeing aircraft to support its launch which is planned for late 2009. The Cameroon Government has already raised approximately USD125 million to support the acquisition however Cameroon is looking for an external partner to buy a majority stake in Camairco.
