British Airways is launching two new direct services from London Gatwick Airport to Male in the Maldives and Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt from 25 October 2009.
The three times weekly services will be operated using Boeing 777 aircraft with a three-class configuration, with World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World. .The airline also announced that it is ceasing operation of its London Gatwick to New York flights from 25 October 2009
