This is the opinion of psychotherapist Christine Webber, who noted that a break abroad gives people the chance to try being someone else for a while.

"Holidays are the perfect chance to reconnect in that way and it is quite obvious that a lot of people see that as a chance to have more intimacy," she commented.
Ms Webber noted that it can be easier to have a romantic time together when having a break overseas.
