Holidaymakers considering a safari break in Africa may consider booking Air Botswana flights after one travel journalist described the destination as "spectacular".

In an article for the Independent, Simon Calder said the location is a popular spot for honeymooners who want a bit of adventure.

He noted that there are a number of safari camps in the country for those with Air Botswana flights to head to, including Kings Pool Camp, Vumbura and Little Mombo.

"Botswana is one of the most spectacular safari destinations with sumptuous camps and top game viewing in the Okavango Delta," he asserted.

Africa recently received a boost to its profile as a tourist destination through the engagement of Prince William to Catherine Middleton.

Speaking about the proposal, the royal told OK! Magazine that it "just felt really right" to pop the question when the couple were enjoying a romantic break together in the neighbouring African nation of Kenya.
