Blue Islands now three times daily Southampton Jersey
Just back from a quick coffee in the terminal at Gatwick with the MD of the dynamic Channel Islands based airline, Blue Islands .
Although not new news, it is clear that the airlines launch of its three times each day service between Southampton and Jersey from April 19th 2010 is the route that is going to drive it through a successful 2010. Already with a majority market share of the important inter-island market Blue Islands are small enough to care about the experience of each individual and modern enough to run a lean operation in carefully chosen market niches. The airline world is often prone to commercial insanities, so its great to meet an airline boss with his feet firmly on the ground. If you haven't tried Blue Islands yet then you're missing a great way to get to the Channel Islands!
