Just back from an 18 hour round trip from London Gatwick to Berlin to visit the world's largest travel fair (ITB) .

A great trip with lots of chances to speak with different Alternative Airlines, a few long established customers and some real characters from past business ventures. The good news was that the flights were cheap and the in-flight service was fine, but at either end the planing and de-planing was awful. The problem with early morning and late night flights is that the aircraft is often parked off stand and that means a coach transfer from the terminal to the aircraft steps.. not so bad when handled well and efficiently, but a real pain when at every stage passengers are left hanging around waiting for the bus to arrive, the bus to open its doors, the bus to start etc. enough moaning and the bad should be balanced by an advert for EasyJet's excellent Starbuck's onboard coffee.. pretty essential at 06:20 in the morning and again 17 hours later....
