Holidaymakers planning to book flights to Minsk may benefit from a recent codeshare deal signed by Belavia.
The carrier reached an agreement with a Finnish airline that will improve the transport links between Belarus and Scandinavia.
Igor Tcherginets, deputy director general for marketing and international at Belavia, commented: "Both companies offer a service of good quality and passengers get the shortest possible way from Belarus to Scandinavia and south-east Asia."
The route shared by the firms will be between Minsk and Helsinki and this is flown three times a week using a Canadair CRJ200 jet aircraft.
Mr Tcherginets said the agreement between the two companies would prove to be "very beneficial" to passengers.
Those who plan a holiday in Belarus may want to visit some of the sights of interest in Minsk, such as the Lenin sculpture in Independence Square, the Government Palace, the Palace of Republic and the city's old town.
