Belavia Airlines of Belarus, has launched a new direct service between its home base in Minsk and the Russian city of Ekaterinburg from May 31st. The new flights will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays using a two class Boeing 737/500 aircraft.

In addition the new summer timetable shows an increase in frequency between Minsk and Moscow, with a new daily service to Vnukovo Airport to be added tto the existing 5 daily flights to Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo.Also during the summer months Belavia will operate flights, connecting the cities of Kazakhstan (Astana, Pavlodar, Kostanay) with the European cities over their hub in Minsk, The flights from Kazakhstan arrive at Mink early in the morning allowing easy connections to Warsaw, Hannover, Berlin, Frankfurt, Manchester, Milan, Prague and Rome. The quantity of flights will be also increased to Baku, Larnaca, Berlin, Paris, Rome and Milan. Belavia also three times each week from Minsk to Sochi, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
