Belavia, the expanding national carrier of Belarus has launched a new twice weekly scheduled service between its home base in Minsk base and Batumi a Georgian black Sea city.
The new route started flying on 15th September 2010 and the airline will use a Boeing 737-500 aircraft between the two cities.
Belavia currently has three flights per week between London Gatwick and Minsk, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The airline currently has 16 aircraft in its fleet : 6 - Boeing 737-500; 3 - Boeing 737-300; 3 - CRJ-100/200 LR; 4 - ТU -154 М.
