Independent Thai carrier, Bangkok Airways has launched a five times weekly direct flight from its operating base in Bangkok to Bangalore, India. This is the second destination served in India by this expanding regional South East Asian airline. The new flight will operate on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday but the airline is planning to make the service daily by the end of 2011.
