New low-cost airline Avianova will begin flying out of Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport to four Russian cities on August 27th 2009.

Initially the airline will have a fleet of two Airbus A320 aircraft and will fly from Moscow to Sochi, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don and Samara. Future detsinations are likely to include Naberezhniye Chelny and Astrakhan. Avianova has a significant investment from Indigo Partners, a U.S. investment firm which has experience in sucessfully developing low cost carriers.
