The market leading airline group, AviancaTaca has signed a contract to buy 51 brand new Airbus A320 aircraft including 33 eco-efficient A320neo aircraft.
Fabio Villegas Ramirez, CEO of AviancaTaca announced: “With this order our group airline modernization process continues, which includes fleet renewal as its primary focus. Our goal is to offer travelers the most comfortable and efficient aircraft in the market. The A320neo are recognized for their configuration and green technology,” affirmed the company director.
The airlines within the AviancaTaca grouping, which includes AeroGal of Ecuador have now firm orders for 190 Airbus aircraft (including this latest order ) and overall the companies operate aircraft across the whole range of the Airbus A320 family: A318, A319, A320 and A321.
