The Colombian National carrier, Avianca has announced plans to launch a new daily service from the country's capital, Bogota to the regional city of Florencia. The new flight will start operating on January 23rd 2012 and will be flown using a Fokker 50 aircraft.
Florencia is the regional capital city of the Caquetá region of South East Colombia and is situated between mountains and the Amazon. The new flights operate from Bogota at 14:00 daily, returning from Florencia at 16:25. These flights will connect with many of the Avianca national and international services which include flights to over 100 destinations in 25 countries.
