New research has looked at the number of holidays Britons are likely to take during their lifetime.
A number of Britons could book tickets with Uzbekistan Air and arrange flights to Tashkent this year.
This is because, according to new research conducted by Teletext Holidays, the average person in the UK goes on two breaks every 12 months.
Overall, this equates to people taking 121 trips between the ages of 18 and 78.5.
As well as visiting cities with groups of friends, many like to take romantic trips away with their other half or activity-filled breaks with their family, the study showed.
Managing director of the company Victoria Sanders said individuals are increasingly jetting off when they want to mark a special occasion, such as a birthday or wedding.
"That shows the importance people place on travel. They want to invest in experiences, pleasure and relaxation and not just bricks and mortar," she added.
When people are planning a holiday, buying travel insurance could be one of the first items on their list of things to do.
Insight analyst for general insurance at Defaqto Mike Powell recently advised holidaymakers to ensure they are properly covered and to check the fine print carefully.
