One expert has offered advice to those who may be considering booking flights with Vietnam Airlines and travelling to Asia.
Chairman of AITO Specialist Travel Agents Oliver Broad said individuals should not rush their holiday if they want to take in several destinations in one go.
"Combining Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos however does need time, around three weeks to make the most of your trip," he stated.
The expert added that increasing numbers of people are looking to experience more of what Asia has to offer instead of visiting popular locations like Thailand, where they may already have been.
If travellers are unsure about whether their chosen destination is safe to explore, Mr Broad recommended checking the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website, as this can give more accurate information than that reported by the press.
Speaking to the company arranging the trip is also a good idea, he added.
