Albanian Airlines flights may be increasingly in demand in the coming years as the nation grows as a tourist destination.
According to Ravin Maharajah, partner of the five-star Lalzit Bay Resort and Spa on the country's coast, the nation has rebranded itself.
He observed that the low cost of living, "striking physical beauty" and improving infrastructure mean the country has the potential to become the "perfect" spot for holidaymakers.
"Albania will burst forth as a tourist destination in the next five years, generating considerable revenue," he asserted.
Earlier this year, the country's deputy minister of tourism, Suzana Turku revealed that 1.2 million people visited the nation in the first six months of 2011, up 8.5 per cent compared with the same period in the preceding year.
This may suggest that flights to Tirana are becoming increasingly desirable among foreign holidaymakers.
People who book a trip to Albania may want to stop in at the Fortress of Justinian or the Marytr's Cemetery while in the capital city.
