Holidaymakers planning to travel to Panama may have a greater number of options later this year as Air Transat plans to add additional services to the country from a number of locations in Canada.

Throughout the year, it is possible to book flights to Panama with the carrier from Montreal and Toronto, but from November 2nd 2011, it will also be possible to do so from Calgary and Edmonton.

Those with flights to Vancouver who are planning on continuing their trip by heading to the Central American nation will be able to do so on a direct service from December 20th.

In the same week, Air Transat will also start offering trips from Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Regina, which will be available until March 5th 2012.

While in Panama, jetsetters should not miss out on a trip to the Old City in the capital, which is a Unesco World Heritage Site full of stunning plazas and statues.
